I haven't made many changes to my site, but I have done a few things that have made navigating my HTML a lot easier. First off, I added comments to my HTML to make it easier to see what I'm working on. Secondly, I created an external style sheet so that my HTML code wasn't bogged down with a whole bunch of styling. The external style sheet also makes it easier to change the styling for multiple pages at one time.

While looking through my classmate's websites, I stumbled upon a few really cool things.

On the Weebly site "Brian's Garage," I really enjoyed the design theme that was chosen. The content on the site was also organized very well.
On the Weebly site "The First Question," I thought that it was smart to pick a topic that was very popular - Doctor Who! I also thought the design was really sweet.
On the HTML/CSS site "Parasitoids," I thought that the design elements were eye-catching.
On the HTML/CSS site "National Food," I really enjoyed the image used as a background photo.

Next time I work on editing my Weebly and HTML/CSS sites, I will try to implement a few of the techniques that I saw on my classmate's sites.

For Chapter 12 I don't really understand the difference between <div> id's and classes, but I do understand a little bit about layouts. For Chapter 13 I don't really understand how you can float something within a float, but I do understand multiple column layouts. I'm sure that with more practice on the tutorials and implementing these techniques in my personal website I will learn more about these different techniques and how they change the styling of my site.

Below is a screenshot of one of my Weebly pages before I make a simple change.
Now, I have added a link to a specific page on my personal site. I will do this for each of my pages.

I hope that over the course of this semester and project, that I learn more about html and css. I hope to be able to add really cool design elements to my personal page that really showcase my knowledge about html and css.

I think that Weebly is a really cool site that gives those who don't know a lot about website creation a good way to create a website easily. I love the different design themes you can choose and the wide variety of elements you can add to each page. I chose the theme above because it's a landscape of the sky and grass, and my website is about dogs - who love to play outside.

During my first semester, I didn't really use Pilot in any of my classes. This semester however, I use it a lot. Since I don't have much experience with the old Pilot, I don't have any complaints about the new Pilot. I like the navigation and the design. I really like the mobile version of the site as well.
